Dixie Daly is the Business/Membership Director for the Loveland Chamber of Commerce. In this position, she creates and organizes many groups and event such as leadership Loveland, Early Birds lead group, Business Before and After Hours, Golf Tournaments, Corn Roast and Sweetheart Festival, Lunch Connections, Lunch N Learn, Annual Dinner, Valentine Stamping, Ambassador and Miss Valentine Programs.

Dixie combines her entrepreneurial energy with a lifelong passion for helping others. She generously shares her passion, innovation leadership, intense business savvy and extensive network of contacts to encourage others, both as individuals and as new entrepreneurs. Dixie has appeared on Denver’s ABC and NBC, promoting inventions and the creation of new ideas. She is well known for taking an idea from scribbled notes to a world-wide market. She grasps the value and impact of solid mentoring, networking, inspiring and encouraging other entrepreneurs to pursue their dreams and reach their goals.

Dixie began her successful fundraising experience as a volunteer in Loveland’s Thompson R2J School District. For the past 35 years she has provided fundraising expertise and top Sales awards with companies like Time Warner, Reader’s Digest, Graber Window Blinds and Colorado Rockies Baseball Team. Throughout her years as an entrepreneur, Dixie has received numerous awards such as eWomen Network’s International Business Match-Maker, Biz West ‘Women of Distinction,’ Colorado Women of Influence Vision and the Colorado Women of Influence Inspirational award and is an award-winning poet. She is a Board Member with Colorado Women of Influence and President of her local ESA Sigma Rho Sorority Chapter and was a Committee Member for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.

Retail Business Consultant

Dave Hudson began his business career at age 15 buying, repairing, and selling bicycles in his parents’ garage. While working towards his BA at Colorado State University, he studied with great personal interest all aspects of retailing, financial management, accounting, marketing, and developing, training, and compensating individuals in business. He grew his business to eight locations in two states, embarked on a franchise program, and experienced firsthand the challenges of bankruptcy in 1992. After restarting his business, he expanded his portfolio by acquiring and managing residential and commercial rental properties. Now, as a Top Retailer in his industry, he is well respected in Northern Colorado as a savvy businessman and contributor to his community.

Loveland Business Development Center Program Director

Kat Rico brings a wealth of experience to her role as Program Director, including 8 years as a local business owner. Through Silver Rose Retro, she created custom dresses with a vintage flair, did bridal alterations, and worked directly with her customers to bring their sewn creations to life.

Kat has a strong operation and marketing track record having worked in the marketing and leadership positions in a variety of organizations, including the Larimer SBDC. Most recently, she held the title of Digital Marketing Manager for International Sports Management in Portland, OR, harnessing their existing data to drive sales leads in program that she built from the ground up.

She is a proud Colorado native, raised in the NOCO community with a family history of community impact. She received her Bachelor of Science from Regis University, majoring in Business Administration. In addition to her strong professional background, she is an enthusiastic self-described geek and loves all things sci-fi, gaming, technology, and planning new adventures.
