Creative Business After Hours: Advocacy, Agency, and Anti-Oppression in the Arts

Creative Business After Hours: Advocacy, Agency, and Anti-Oppression in the Arts in partnership with Fort Collins Museum of Discovery

How do artists advocate for themselves in spaces that have limited resources and no real functioning systems of support?

Where do artists go when they have a complaint or need help navigating the space that they are in?

This panel discussion is designed to help the performer and artist navigate these unique business situations, and understand what some of the resources available to them are.

As artistic spaces evolve, Full Expression! wants to connect our creative community with individuals who are doing justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion work daily while offering practical ways and resources on how to embody advocacy. Panelists will represent different areas of advocacy ranging from anti-bullying, sexual abuse prevention and education, anti-racism, disability activism and other fields.

This panel is for anyone who identifies as an artist and wants to be part of the conversation. We will offer a facilitated group panel followed by smaller group discussions, as well as an opportunity to network with guests.
