This free program is from 8am-4:30pm at the Larimer Small Business Development Center/The Innosphere, located at 320 East Vine Drive.

This great opportunity for Colorado’s military community to learn everything needed to start or grow a small business is presented by the New Mexico Veterans Business Outreach Center, the Larimer/Small Business Development Center, the U.S. Small Business Administration, and SCORE.

Boots to Business: Reboot is a two-step training program that provides participants an overview of business ownership as a career vocation, an outline and knowledge on the components of a business plan, a practical exercise in opportunity recognition, and an introduction to available public and private sector resources.

Step One is this Introduction to Entrepreneurship course eligible to veterans of all eras, active-service members (including members of the National Guard and Reserve), and their spouses. This course is taught by the SBA and its partners, who are skilled business advisors.

Step Two is an online follow-up course taught by a consortium of professors and skilled business advisors from the SBA Network.

To pre-register for this exciting business development opportunity, go to https://sbavets.force.com.

For more information, please contact Ivan Corrales at Eric Phillips at eric.phillips@sba.gov or (303) 844-6503.

All SBA programs and services are provided to the public on a nondiscriminatory basis. Reasonable arrangements for persons with disabilities will be made if requested at least two weeks in advance.
