Next in Food - Online Restaurant Academy
In collaboration with The Online Restaurant academy, this 6 week online digital program will guide you through all aspects of opening a restaurant in Larimer County, from concept to scaling your business.
The course is structured for the client to review digital and audio content, completing implementation work, setting goals and being held accountable alongside weekly Zoom group calls with other program participants.
ORA was founded by Lauren Storeby and Tiffany Helton, two female restaurateurs that currently own and operate their restaurants in Fort Collins. With a combined 25+ years of restaurant ownership experience, they know the ins and outs of the restaurant industry and have created strategies and processes in their businesses to not only survive, but thrive.
If you’re interested in opening a restaurant with little to no ownership experience this program will be a great resource to teach you the tricks of the trade and to set you up for success with real industry knowledge, experience and having a better understanding of what to expect as a restaurant owner.

LEADING EDGE is for business owners and entrepreneurs positioning for growth stage, that desire focused education and planning, accountability, networking, and the tools to build a strategic business plan to take their company to the next level.
The LEADING EDGE™ Entrepreneurship Series is a hands-on, step-by-step strategic business planning program for early-stage businesses across any industry. Through this 8-weeks Cohort Series—with expert help all along the way—you can test the feasibility of positioning your company for growth, solidify your business model and build a road map in LivePlan. You can finish the series with an actionable, strategic business plan to access potential financing or to use as a blueprint to manage your business. LivePlan subscriptions are included with the program and available for three months afterward.
The LEADING EDGE Entrepreneurship Series makes you an active participant in a program designed for (and with) entrepreneurs just like you. Facilitators and guest presenters are knowledgeable entrepreneurs and specialists who are attuned to the issues you will face every day. Thoughtful, insightful—and above, all practical—the series covers all aspects of successful business planning for growth.

Early Childhood Business Training Program
Free six-week virtual workshop
Class Objective: In this class you will learn different strategies to help you manage the finances, marketing and operations of your business.
Professional Development: Child-care providers can earn professional development hours through the Professional Development Information System (PDIS) by attending all training sessions. Please note, a recorded option and follow up with the trainer is available if you have to miss a live class.
Consulting Sessions: 1 session with a SBDC consultant is required during the 6 weeks of classes. There will be an opportunity to meet a Marketing consultant (separate appointment)

Este curso se lo ofrecemos en dos maneras distintas de aprendizaje. Primero de forma individual y después en reuniones semanales en grupo. Usted tiene la responsabilidad de mirar videos pre grabados, que recibirá semanalmente. Le recomendamos anotar todas las preguntas y dudas que le surjan esto antes de las reuniones semanales en grupo. Usted deberá mirar los 6 videos en su propio tiempo y conectarse en línea presentando sus notas a las 6 reuniones en la hora programada para discusión. (This course is offered to you in two different ways of learning. First individually and then in weekly group meetings. You have the responsibility to watch pre-recorded videos, which you will receive weekly. We recommend that you write down all questions and doubts that arise before the weekly group meetings. You should watch the 6 videos on your own time and connect online with your notes to the 6 group sessions at the scheduled time for discussion.
Debe participar activamente y completar un plan de acción al final del curso para recibir horas de crédito profesional. (You must actively participate and complete an action plan at the end of the course to receive professional credit hours.)
